A SDVOSB is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), meaning the company is owned by a person who served in the Active Military, Naval, or Air Service and whose disability was incurred or aggravated in the line of duty in the Active Military, Naval, or Air Service. SDVOSB businesses must also satisfy the Small Business Association’s (SBA) size standards and be approved through the VA’s Vets First Verification program (VetCert Vets First Contracting Program (Public Law, P.L. 109-461)
