We had a customer who was making a highly sensitive product, that was extremely small, going from Columbus, Indiana, to Dallas, Texas. This customer did not want to use the LTL option of throwing this product on another truck with other products because they did not want to risk that this product would be damaged. It was a highly sensitive product and it was highly important that it make it from Columbus, Indiana, to Dallas, Texas as quickly and efficiently as possible, but yet as safely as possible with little to no risk of damage to the product.

StoneBridge Trucking has a small transit connect. It’s a small vehicle that is specifically dedicated to transporting one skid, or less, items under 1300 lbs, dedicated from the destination to the delivery point. So, because StoneBridge Trucking and Expediting works 24/7, we have a dispatch and we are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We scheduled this load ahead of time to pick up on a Friday afternoon and deliver that weekend to Dallas, Texas in our transit.
