Butch Kennedy the founder of StoneBridge Trucking and father of StoneBridge CEO Shane Kennedy. He is originally from Rushville, IN and has over 45 years of transportation and logistics experience. Founded in 1999, Butch started StoneBridge Trucking with one mission: Bridge Our Customers to Theirs.
Butch is a veteran of the US Navy and served on the USS Kearsarge during the Vietnam War. Butch is a loyal friend to those around and proud grandfather to his grandchildren, Taylor, Monroe, and Beckett. Butch currently resides in Greensburg, Indiana
Shane Kennedy is from Greensburg, Indiana and is the son of StoneBridge Founder Butch Kennedy. He has served in the US Military for over 21 years in the US Army, Indiana Air National Guard, US Navy Reserves, and currently serves as a Logistics Readiness Officer in the US Air Force Reserve. After being released from Active Duty in the US Navy, Shane has joined his family’s business as the Marketing Executive and was eventually promoted to CEO for StoneBridge Trucking.
Shane graduated from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a BS in Business and graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He is married and resides in Batesville, Indiana with his wife Ashlee, their two daughters Taylor and Monroe, and son Beckett.
Brad Stephens joined StoneBridge Trucking in 2017 as a Fleet Operator. He quickly excelled in the fleet and was promoted to the Operations & Compliance Manager. Brad has vast experience in the logistics industry as well as a proud history of service to his country. He graduated from South Decatur High School in 1991 were he was a proud part of the 1990 State Championship Football Team. In 1992 he joined the US Army where he would serve for 14 years. As a Fire Control Specialist, Brad served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Brad’s experience in logistics is thorough and proven. He drove for a logging company in Alaska, has driven dump trucks, semi-tractor trailers, and has worked for Lowe’s and Lincare of the “other side” of logistics in shipping, receiving, traffic training, dispatch, and customer service. Brad is the proud parent of 5 children and resides in Switzerland County with his wife Angie.
Ken Inscho joined StoneBridge in September 2019 after spending time in retirement and looking to stay active in something he loved. He knew StoneBridge Founder Butch Kennedy and joined the team. Originally from Painesville, OH he graduated from Riverside High School and eventually earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Wilmington College. He has over 30+ years of manufacturing experience and has owned and operated 2 different companies. He started his company 5K due to his wife Kim, and children Kelly, Kacey, and Kyle all starting with a K. He is a proud grandfather to Emma, Kate, Libby, Jackson, and Landon. He enjoys travel, golf, cooking on his big green egg, and spending time with his beautiful family. He enjoys StoneBridge because “They truly do treat you like family. Everyone cares about everyone else, and the camaraderie is 2nd to none”.
Brock Bayless grew up in Westport Indiana and attended South Decatur. He joined StoneBridge in July 2018. After 13 years in the manufacturing industry, Brock changed paths and began expediting and now has over 11 years of small load expediting experience. In July of 2021, Brock was promoted to lead Dispatcher at StoneBridge and has excelled at that role ever since.
He now resides in Greensburg, Indiana with his wife Kerri and his step-daughter Michaela. He is an excellent bowler who was once featured in the Indy Star paper for bowling back-to-back 299 games and has 10 perfect games on his record. He really enjoys working at StoneBridge: “They care about their employees very much, best place I have ever worked”.
JD McClintic joined StoneBridge in 2018 and was quickly promoted to lead mechanic after 6 months with the company. He is the grandson of Pete Tulley who spent years working directly for StoneBridge Founder Butch Kennedy from 2000-2008. JD is a legacy who is proudly working in the path his grandpa Pete helped pave for the StoneBridge Family. Born and raised in Greensburg, JD is the “Glue” that keeps StoneBridge together on a daily basis. Born and raised in Greensburg, IN, JD is a graduate from Greensburg High School and has 15 years of maintenance experience, auto parts sales, construction, and shipping logistics. He currently resides in Greensburg, IN with his girlfriend Tearstin and her daughters Gemma and Paisley. He is a proud father to his daughter Chevy.
