Jeff Moore was born in Springfield, OH in 1954 and his family quickly relocated to Greensburg, Indiana in 1955. After graduating from Purdue University with his AS in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Jeff married his wife Cindy in 1974. After 42 years of marriage, they are now proud parents and grandparents to three children and five grandchildren.
When Jeff joined StoneBridge Trucking, he proved himself to be an immediate asset to the StoneBridge team by bringing a “a little something extra” to the job; excellent people skills and customer service. Since Jeff has spent his life as an owner of a small family business where customer service and understanding peo-ple were paramount to his business’ success, his acquired skills became an immediate asset to StoneBridge. You may have heard of his company, Minear’s Department Store – Greensburg, IN. Established in 1865, Jeff’s Dad became a silent owner in 1967, and by 1975 Jeff was managing the entire operation.
After spending his life in customer service and developing personable relation-ships in a professional setting, Jeff sees a direct correlation between his years at Minear’s and representing StoneBridge Trucking: “For 40 years, I worked every day to focus directly on how I needed to treat people and address them, their needs, and demands. Today I do the same exact thing for StoneBridge Trucking. We work for and serve people.” Jeff has always enjoyed the people aspect of his job at StoneBridge, but he has found satisfaction as a Truck Operator in other facets of the job. He loves the landscape of North America. “I have traveled our country and seen some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets imaginable. When it comes to the people and landscape associated with this job, I find it addicting.”
Jeff takes great pride in his job and appearance. Having worked in the clothing business for 40 years and retiring from the business a few years ago, he undoubtedly gets the award as “Best Dressed Operator in the Business”. As a Truck Operator, he said it is important for our customers to know “We are doing the best job possible to get their product safely and quickly from one location to another. We are expediters, and we take pride in what we do.”
