It’s 1205am on a Tuesday morning, and a StoneBridge customer has a hot expedite needing picked up in Kentucky that morning and delivered to Ala-bama ASAP. Regardless of the time, they call the StoneBridge dispatch to see if this is possible. Like always, StoneBridge is there to answer the call. Since Janu-ary 2013, StoneBridge Customers have been accustomed to one voice on the other end of the phone, one name on the other end of the email, and one high expectation of professional customer service, and a high level of un-matched courtesy and competency. The person responsible for this is Garry Hadler. That is why today, you will get to know the person who is The Voice of StoneBridge Trucking.
Garry is born and raised in Greensburg, IN. He is a proud father of two boys, and a grandparent. Garry is
always proud to show his support for law enforce-ment. His oldest son Nick, is a police officer and recently had his first child Ty Hadler, 8 months ago. Garry’s youngest son Scott, is a CPA and was recently married during a New Year’s Eve celebration. Rarely will you see Garry not smil-ing, and that’s easy to understand based on how proud he is of his two sons and grandson. He has been working in auto and truck sales and service since he was 17 years old. In 2011, Garry was having a conversation with his friend Butch Ken-nedy, when Butch mentioned he needed somebody to help with light vehicle maintenance at StoneBridge Trucking. He worked and drove until Butch under-went knee surgery in 2013, when Butch knew it was time for him to make a change at the Operations / Dispatch desk. Butch said “It was time for me to seri-ously consider retirement. I needed someone competent, energetic, trust-worthy, and professional to immediately step in for me”.
At that point, it was clear that Garry Hadler was the man for the job. Garry is one of the hardest workers out there. From Jan 2013 to Oct 2016, Garry never took a day off, never had a vacation, never took a break from running the entire operation. When asked about this, Garry’s response is enlightening. “As stress-ful as this job is at times, I really do enjoy it. I enjoy the variety of hats I get to wear. I enjoy the people I consistently speak with over the phone. I enjoy knowing I am helping them in times of need. And I enjoy our entire StoneBridge team. It’s a good job, and I am proud of what I do.”
As happy as Garry is on a consistent basis, that changed on December 18, 2016 when his father, David Hadler, passed away. After a serving in the Army National Guard, David Hadler spent his professional life working as a Banker, and ended his career as a lock-smith. Garry has nothing but love and admi-ration for his father, “He was a good, trustworthy, and hardworking man. I love him and I miss him. I am extremely proud to have been his son. He is a very large part of who I am as a man and profes-sional today“.
